Description

Come learn the fun, ancient, and beautiful art of fusing and slumping glass. Utilizing heat, gravity, and time students will create an array of fused and slumped creations. This is a great class for people interested in learning the technical basics of kiln working. Learn about scoring glass, melting temperatures, annealing, and many more technical tips. Tools and materials will be provided; however if students have glass cutting tools they are comfortable with they are welcome to bring them. No previous glass working experience is necessary. Pieces may be picked up one week after class or shipped for an additional $15. 1-4pm Six students maximum.
