This bronze and glass intaglio necklace was made by Extasia, the studio of Stefanie Freydont in Nevada City, CA. "Intaglio" is where an artist carves down into the glass to hollow out a recessed image. Extasia's hand pressed glass intaglios are made in a small Bavarian village, using original steel molds and techniques unchanged from the 1800s. The beautiful carved images in this piece are classic female silhouettes. Hangs 16" with a 4" faceted bead adjuster. Matching Bracelet available as well.
